What aftermarket parts will fit the 2017 GT86?
pretty new here (hi!) and a month ago i purchased the 17' GT86 & i will love everything about it right & i already wanna do some changes to it already like lowering it, adding an exhaust system & i wanted to know if the springs and exhausts for previous models will for this one, i've looked around the forums but i can't seem to find any info on it and googled as well but nothing

I am pretty sure exhaust and drop kits are direct bolt on from older models. I own a 2017 too!

![]() I would suggest that you first decide what kind/brand of springs and exhaust parts that you would like to have for your car. Then, contact the manufacturer to find out whether or not their product will fit a 2017. Happy modding! humfrz |

There's no reason why any exhaust would have fitment issues between the 2017 and the older models.
I'm assuming same goes coilovers and springs. Also, I'm sure any reputable manufacturer will have fitment information readily available. |

I'm almost positive there is a different flange or something like that on the new 86 exhaust compared to the original.
Also, I would imagine the aftermarket air intake systems might not be 100% compatible. I could be wrong though. |

Can confirm on exhaust flanges being different. OP to front pipe is different, aftermarket gasket didn't fit. Also midpipe to axelback is different. Aftermarket axelback will not fit.

13-16 Catbacks fit right up to the new '17 models.
13-16 Axle-backs do not fit!

Well the TRD parts will for sure fit because they're all options on the 2017's also, so the TRD intake, exhaust, lowering springs, swaybars, quick shifter, will all fit. Oh, and the two types of TRD wheels.
