If you're at the top of the chain, why not share your success with them and pay them back for the car? Put yourself in their shoes.

Sponge is accurate.

I'm paying almost 90k for an addition to my home so that my remaining parent can live with me and not be fearful of a lonely retirement. He wasn't successful and couldn't afford to buy me name brand graham crackers, let alone a car. Be a good dude and share your success.

I'll attest that you sharing your personal situation with us is why we're giving you this advice. If someone asks "should I jump in the pool?" You'd probably say "Yes!". When they tell you it's from the top of a building and the pool has no water, the answer unequivocally changes to "No!"

Wow so first:

Rims = Wheels

This isn't pimp my ride. Secondly, I am also maybe not understanding why want to build the motor. Again, a built motor isn't a be-all solution. You will lose some of the things an OEM motor grants you and depending on the CR, you can lose power if you are not turbocharged.

So again, why exactly do you need a built motor?

I don't usually chime in on these kinds of posts, but I agree. If you say you are successful, buy your own car or pay this off. I shake my damn head every time I see these posts from kids these days. What ever happened to earning your way through life VS expecting things to be given to you. We are all fighting some type of battle, so for you to run off and say that he doesn't know what you've been through or what you've gone through is hypocritical because neither do you. Earn your way to mod YOUR OWN VEHICLE pay off your parents, then mod your car.

INB4 thread locked/deleted. Also this is the engine swap forum, not the built block FI forum. This dude sounds entitled and big mad.

Just build the damn motor with the HKS Stroker kit and call it a day.

Probably a short chain, three steps: part time to full time ("benefitted"), full time to manager for the mall store (perks include an extra dollar an hour, 5% off inventory and gets weekends off).
