Also holy cow you live in Visalia. You should come down to Bakersfield C&C and hang out with the rest of the FR-S owners. There are two NSX owners here that I'm sure you'd love to meet. First one's on me!

Also that way we can see what you actually drive. I'm curious now. I've never seen a photo or build log from you, and you only have a handful of posts referencing your FR-S/BRZ.

Also, since you're being level headed and we're all fanboys, What would you recommend for a new 2015-2016 car under 30K? Also what would you recommend used? I'm doubly curious.
You ever hear of Elite Imports? Some car meet crew or whatever (they have those I guess?).

If so you've probably met him based on a couple of minutes of searching.

Never heard of them. (Also yeah they have those)

In Bako we've got these guys:

https://www.facebook.com/TeamNVUS

Who apparently originated in Visalia.

There's an NSX in their group that's got so many stickers on it for advertising that it should be in NASCAR.

Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to any of that, I was too busy looking out my windshield while taking corners at twice the posted speed limit with a big ol' shit eating grin on my face.
Exactly; they don't matter- it's just her character. So is how much fun she is to drive, and all the handling characteristics that make that so. I noticed most of the quirks and such during the test drive, but I didn't care. I still don't; I got everything I wanted, which is why I'll take any excuse to go for a spin.

I'm also sure there's guys complaining on every platform about quality regardless of how much they have spent.
Oh there are definitely those who complain about their Vette's on those boards.

There are not enough issues to have a dedicated subforum for them like there is here (well at least there are not enough people on that board complaining about issues to warrant it).

You can go to any forum (even my GSXR forums) and find people with issues.

There is no perfect machine.

And that was my point to the folks saying a 30k car should be free of issues like rattles and stuff.

Exactly. The S200 isn't without it's flaws either, even considering it came out a decade ago. Nor is the 2015 Mustang. You're going to have problems no matter what car you purchase.

All of the "NVUS" Cars i've seen are ratchet, or riced out.

Oh and don't get me started on the squeaky windows, most embarrassing thing when I'm in a drive through and it's raining.
Hearing this is so disappointing... The sad thing is, all the fanboys will ignore the horrible quality just to make people think they drive a good car

The thing I don't get with folks is that if you hate the power and engine in a certain car and you knew that you would be underwhelmed with it. THEN WHY BUY IT????

I respect the people who bash our cars and decide not to buy one because of "lack of power" for the simple fact that they won't be on here complaining like little women. What those guys do is buy the car they wanted. I also respect the guys who buy the 86 platform and decide to F/I it because they want to make a 350-450 whp/2700-2800 lb RWD beast. I also respect the guys who buy it and do I/H/E/Tune or the ones who keep it stock. What I don't respect is the guys who buy this car and expect the engine to magically turn into a 8500 rpm S2000-like 250hp engine. It was advertised in 2012 with only 200hp/151tq. You could've save time and money and cop a S2000 platform as it is by far one of the best cars ever made. MAN THE HELL UP!

This exactly! This is why the twins are the new civic in terms of little-kid attitude. All you have to do to be a hero on this forum is ignore every single quality issue and tell everyone that this car is perfect. They are in denial

Being older, I feel like they should have put a little bit extra into the interior of the FRS. Again, just my opinion.
AGREE! My girl has a 2009 tC and the interior is miles ahead of the BRZ. Not only that, but they have a similar 0-60 times. When I heard that the twins would be marketed around 25k, my jaw dropped... Why would this car be so expensive. LMFAOOOO Im just glad that one of my managers bought me this for street and track use, because I wanted to try it out but there is no way I was gonna pay for this cheapness/slowness.

I understand you have major issues with the quality but why not get rid of it if it's a hassle? I got rid of my G35 coupe for excessive overheating. I got rid of my 2007 Civic because it was just plain boring but good on gas. You might think everybody on this forum thinks the car is perfect in a childish kind of way but some people haven't experienced major quality issues. I am not a fanboy as this is my first Toyota/Subaru product(I had 3 Honda's and a Infiniti prior). I also had minor issues with every one of them but trust when I say that the Twins aren't perfect either. No. Car. Is.
