Compression test numbers? Anyone done running comp test?

Did compression test the other day.

I got 165-175 across the 4 cylinders cranking

and around the 210-220 running.

Whats the go with the high numbers running? I thought it was supposed to test between 50-80% of the cranking number?

Also what numbers have you guys been getting? Ive searched and only found one other fa20 test..

How many miles do you got on your car?

Also, which places do a compression test without pulling the engine? Or which compression tests devices fit in that small space to test without pulling the engine?

You don't have to pull the engine to do a compression test, it's about the same as replacing spark plugs.

If a mechanic wants to pull the engine to run this test you should find another mechanic.
