Boy, do I feel stupid.

On a separate note, OP, one of the most common units of fuel efficiency measurement is miles per gallon, which means just that, how many miles you can go with a gallon of fuel.

One way of meassuring this is to fill up your 13.2 gallon gas tank (preferably with gasoline/petroleum), pick a long highway and drive. Once you've run out of gas, take the distance (in miles) and divide that by 13.2, you'll get your mpg. Then while you wait for a tow truck/someone bringing you fuel, sit and think of how stupid this thread is.

Best of luck

That's strange.... in my car, every time I turn the car on the gas level actually INCREASES! If I were you, I'd take it back to the dealer and complain that the gas needle is supposed to go UP every time you run the car. Show them this message.

Just trying to help. You're welcome. :-)

Aren't all those dots going to get in the way of the gas though?

This thread is hilarious!

On the topic of gas usage, my FRS gets the typical 30-31 mpg.

Most important thing for me is that I get this type of gas mileage out of a car that is so much freakin' fun to drive.

It might as well be fun because otherwise the comparison of mileage is just a glorified **** measuring contest!

Unless everybody drives precisely the same way, in exactly the same conditions and in an identical car (even with modern manufacturing they are not all identical) then to compare mileage is just a waste of time!

My observation is the usefulness of a thread is directly inverse proportional to its length, while the fun factor increases along those same lines.

I will leave it up to the reader to solve for X.
