Cadillac Blackwings (WAS: CT5-V with LT4 and MT)

While not 100% confirmed, looks like the upcoming CT5-V LT4 may let the manual transmission live on a little longer.

I'm seriously considering this as my next "Grandpa Car". If I do will definitely get the MT to help support the cause. Might be one of the last chances to get an MT in this type car.

I was honestly trying to figure out what market segment this car sits in, but I guess it's right in front of me.

Well, that's the desired effect for the ship use case, but the direct result is supposed to be to mask otherwise visible features that give you an idea of it's size and shape.

I liked the pattern on the Supra better, truth be told.

Pretty sure I can't afford a 600+hp car but damn that looks fun. (Well I could* but I wouldn't spend that much on a car probably)

the CT5-V (instead of the V Blackwing) is probably a better option for street driving, vs track. Unfortunately the V with it's twin screw V6 doesn't have a manual option but it is significantly less expensive.

Well, the formal announcement and the preorders went live last night (02/01/2021). The CT5-V Blackwing preorders (250 units) sold out in minutes, likely mostly by speculators. Hopefully they were all ordered with the 6MT so I can buy one for cheap in 5 years. As of this morning you can still preorder the CT4-V Blackwing.

If I'm honest, I like the looks of the last gen CTS-V better, with the slotted hood and more aggressive styling. The tech on these are really great though.
