Just ordered a 6k ddm hid kit for my whiteout fr-s. looking to get a good white look from the high beams as well. Need suggestions with bulbs. I'm horrible with this stuff.

Unwise to have hids in the high beams.
Do you plan on keeping the high beams on for 15+ mins at a time? If not please research why this is a bad idea.

I have some Philips Diamond Vision 9005 bulbs ordered for mine, i have used the Crystal Vision Ultras in the past and liked them better than the silverstars, etc.

Ebay, $21 shipped i think coming from china but was half the price of ones in the USA. Works as a DRL and high beam and is "5000k" color, the crystal vision ultra is "4300k" i put them in quotes because they won't match hid's exactly but thats what the color they try to match. No ballast just take out the stock bulb and put the new one in. My hid's are 5000k which is why i got the diamond vision.

I just ordered these.
It says the Xenon White looks like 6K HIDs, and they also get 20% brighter for the high beams. I can snap some pictures when I get them, if you want. |

From what I take from the linked website, those bulbs are for DRL's or fog lamps. Not sure they might be bright enough for headlamps??.......

Like I said above, some reviewers said they use them as high beams (they do get brighter), so I figured I would give them a shot. |
