The only good thing is the matte finish hides the brake dust better but that's on a matte black finish and you are doing silver.
Matte black wheels hide brake dust because they already look like they are 100% covered in it

Yep, when it's time to clean them I just have to trust I actually did so because they always look "clean" or "dirty" depending on how you think matte black looks on a wheel.

I have not decided wether to clear them with a Satin or Matte clear. Suggestions?
no suggestions just want to say those wheels are awesome! best OEM wheel imo. wanted those but ended up going with cheaper rpf1s.

Today I completed my Rexpeed convex heated mirror install by installing the relay for the heated mirrors and tested them out. Both mirrors got warm after about a minute with no blown fuses, burning electrical smells, etc. Needless to say I was quite pleased that the effort I put into adding the proper wiring to the factory harness was worth it.

I also installed the windshield adapter for my auto dimming compass mirror, fed the wire through the headliner, installed the wire cover, and installed the new mirror. I'm still waiting for my wiring harness to arrive so I can plug it into the connector hiding under the headliner.

The last thing I did was order a new clutch slave cylinder with a 3/4 bore as outlined in a thread by @Ultramaroon that I stumbled across last night. I can't stand this clutch anymore and everyone who drives my car complains about the clutch, so this slave cylinder will supposedly solve all of my problems.

Edit- to add to our debate about the 86 Speed hood struts from the other day: the shiny stickers that say "86 Speed" have begun to peel off of both struts after owning them for a few days. The struts themselves still work fine, but the stickers seem pretty cheap.

Maybe I should have. The shiny stickers on the shocks were the main reason I bought them and now that the stickers have fallen off I have no reason to like them anymore...

It wouldn't be the same as having the originals

Just to make sure we're all on the same page here, I'm being sarcastic. I don't care about the stickers.

I need to get off of my ass and do this. I've had the OEM heated mirrors in a box under my coffee table for 3 years. :/

Adding the wiring to the door harnesses isn't hard if you have the right tools. It took me a day to do both sides, including adding the wiring to both mirrors, all without proper tools (I used weed whacker line to pull the wires through the cableways in the doors instead of a fish tape).

I'm going to see if I can reattach them with some glue before removing them entirely.
