5) I purchased a 2016 WRB back in December of 2015... several mods later I had fallen in love with car, fast forward to the official announcement of the tS, and what not to like if you’re an brz enthusiast. Then just yesterday I happened to drive by my friendly subie dealer and out of the corner of my eye I spot the sti wing, instantly knew it was a tS. Turned around mid mid traffic and two hours later walked out the dealer with a brand new tS.

Congrats of your car. Don't want to make this a suspension discussion, but a nice option for future is to upgrade to the Sachs performance coilovers. The tS car has the Sachs dampers and if factory could offer a more expensive option, this would be probably their decision. It was basically a Japan development project, Mr. Tada was aware of it and in the early days even Mr. Showa wanted to try them. They took an "almost OK - GOOD" evaluation from him and followed suggestions.

Here is a side by side picture of the coilovers and an early prototype of the ordinary Sachs dampers:

5) The second release of the BRZ tS in Japan (2015) had me thinking that North America would get it also. After all, it was rumored in various magazines. Instead, we got the Series.HyperBlue at that time. The HyperBlue appealed a lot to me, but I was sure that if a BRZ tS came out stateside, I would get one, and in White too! Long story short it was officially announced, and after 8 long months I got the BRZ of my dreams.

My plan is to keep it stock and hold on to it for as long as I live!

Did you sell your hyperblue or are you keeping that?

Pulled the trigger...

...and here I am.

1) Dok
2) 0393
3) CWP
4) So Cal

5) I've wanted a Twin since they came to our shores, but only got my WRB '17 Limited last year. I was hooked since the first drive, and haven't stopped loving this platform... except for the '17s terrible head unit. When the '18s arrived with CarPlay native, I knew I had to upgrade. I went looking for a replacement, expecting to get into another Limited, only this time with the Performance Package. But when I walked into the showroom and saw the CWP tS... well, let's say the past couple of weeks have been spent negotiating with dealers to put one in my garage. Finished the deal yesterday, and can't wait to get past the 1000 mile break-in to stretch her legs.

Did you carry your parts over from your last BRZ or did you get everything new for the tS?
