Hopefully there wasn't 300 pounds in the back when you did if so! |

Lol, everyone who put down a deposit got to have a test drive if they didn't arrive too late (well everyone except me cause I didn't know how to drive a manual xD). Cory had Mr Jay and Marloon in the back during his test drive. |

Oh and this might be known by a lot of people already, but the T-mesh on the dash is flat, as in it's smooth instead of bumpy. It blew my mind at first case from the photos and reviews everyone kept calling it carbon fibre.

You swayed further one way or another towards an FR-S/BRZ or sticking with your existing car? |

I was hoping driving this thing today would've gotten me off the fence. It's everything i expected it to be...exactly that..nothing more, nothing less. I'm exactly where i was 24 hours ago. If i did get the FRS/BRZ, i'd lean towards the BRZ, because of the comforts myself and my girlfriend would appreciate, and the awesome blue. I honestly wish i drove a POS right now..then i wouldn't have a decision to make..I feel like i'm losing something giving up a wrx.

Got some photos from the JP dealership in DT.
(and of course, they had to get me with my stupid mouth open) It's all good. I'm a happy customer. |

Just got home. so it's the perfect time to forum spam!
Thanks to everyone who was there! it's awesome to put a face on a username. I had a wonderful time just talking about cars with people who knew so much about the FR-S. Was your girlfriend there today at OR scion? Golden hair? Asian girl? She was there taking pictures and got to test drive with Angelo. what a great gf to do this for you. Shes a keeper. Quote:

Yeah, I'm sure that mr. Jay and I were an extra 300 lbs. I weight about 145 lbs (?). But i am pleased with the interior overall. I am not sure which head unit i would use. I am on the fence about that. There are much nicer head units from pioneer too like the appradio2 that was reported on the Fr-S general Subforum. Quote:

I really liked the dash. IF i was going to get the BRZ, i am sure that I would get the interior dash from the FR-S. I'd order it as it looks better than that crappy flat silver they use in the car. Quote:
Since I've never driven a RWD coupe, I have a lot of practice to do and balls to grow. Quote:
As it stands today: 80% on the FR-S. 20% on the BR-Z. White will be the color for either car. (We are getting somewhere!) 60% on financing both cars but I know I shouldnt do that. |

haha..good stuff
So you're basically on the FRS now?..BRZ's out of the picture? At least you've choosen a color...i'll ask again tomorrow..=D Edit..i just posted this after your huge ass post, and didn't know it was there RWD's can be intimidating at first no doubt. The best way to get over any fears is to let the car lose rear traction in a controlled environment, your confidence will go through the roof. I got so adept at car control in my S14 i would take left turns, kick the back end out, and be able to aim the front left and rear right tire just about right where i wanted them everytime ..Oh and the fun i had at roundabouts in the middle of the night..lol You DO have the balls...they're just buried deep inside you....sick..
