Im sure it can be just as fun. If not why not make your own? Find an empty parking lot, or just go out on an adventure until you find a road worth your time if your really looking for excitement. I have lots of family and OKC and used to go to tulsa from time to time, and i can very much agree tulsa is a very terrible, boring, dry place.

My DD is all highways or main road ways. This used to be my DD in my AE86 when I lived in Maryland. All backroads all the time:

I must also ask, what exactly are you planning? if you feel the need to speed I recommend going to Hallett. At least it's an actual race track, and you can speed as much as you want. if you were planning on simply enjoying the roads, then disregard the above statement. but if you're planning on speeding, then please just take it to Hallett and keep it off the street.

Roads are a grid in phoenix, I go out of my way to take the loooong way just for some curve-laiden roads. Its tough owning a miata, shouldnt be much different in the FRS though.

I'm bored and irritable when I drive to work until I get to this section that has tight corners that I can take wide open with my 4-banger BMW. That is the highlight of my trip. I wish I had more corners on my commute.

i live one block from the freeway entrance and my work is a couple blocks from the freeway so my commute is usually all freeway. however once i bought a motorcycle i found a new path that goes way up in the hills and super curvey athough it takes twice as long to get to work. i learned a lot about the area by finding a new route and it was fun to ride to work at the same time. so maybe you can find a new route and explore your city.

I guess im one of the rare few that live on a nice curvey road with a few straights and many options for more curvey roads lol, and that is only half of the county I live in lol the other half is the same or better in some parts

I voted 25% because my normal errands to the shop involve a mix of urban/rural with some sweepers on the highway but nothing really exciting.
Now step outside the "daily drive" errands and it quickly goes to 75-100% because I know lots of great roads just outside the city. Tennessee has beautiful countryside to explore. My FRS will see lots of cows and horses once it arrives. |
