I have a 3yo and a 13yo. My 3yo is getting bigger and our work schedules have changed to where I am having to pick him up from daycare nearly everyday. I need more room. He is cramped in the back with the carseat.

Hey everyone. I'm the guy that was at Cars and Coffee with the white BRZ and the Malaysia 2012 F1 shirt.

Is there any information about that Columbia thing next month that you guys were telling me about? Is there another thread for that? If I'm in town then I'd be interested in going.

No idea where it is specifically. I was just told that there was a big meet up in Columbia. I think I remember hearing that it was October 11th. If you can send me a link that would be great.

I think we need to plan for a trip to The Tail Of The Dragon.

I drove the Dragon two weeks after I bought my BRZ this past April and had the time of my life! I haven't grinned that much in years! It's an amazing place to drive, you're in second and third gear pretty much the entire time, and your hands are moving constantly! If you're good at downshifting you hardly even have to use your brakes at all. I have the stock wheels and tires on my car and I was way more impressed than I thought I would be with the Michelin Primacy tires. They handled their business quite well.

The hard thing for me is planning stuff in advance because I have a job where I have to travel overseas fairly often and most times at a moments notice. But I'd be down to plan on something another weekend in October.

What would be awesome would be to drive up early on a Saturday morning, drive the Dragon a few times and maybe some of the other roads up there. There are some beautiful campsites up there. At the end of the day I think it would be fun to pitch a tent, BBQ and drink a bunch of beer and then head out for another day of driving on the Sunday.

I think between this group and some of the Facebook groups we could get a large group of BRZ/FR-S up there!

That sound fantastic to me haha I've never been to the dragon and I'd love to go! October is a good month for me. Plenty of time to make sure I'm free etc.

My buddy and I are planning another Deals Gap/Tail Of The Dragon weekend. October 25th and 26th. Who might be interested? We'll spend the night somewhere up there and drive both days. Besides TOTD there are many other epic drives in that area and we'll plan to take advantage of all of them. Let me know if you'd be interested and I can get some details together. We're hoping to have lots of BRZ/FR-S drivers attend!

I'll work on some particulars with my buddy and let you know. He's planning to go on Friday and stay until Sunday. I'll plan to drive up Saturday morning, drive all day Saturday and the morning of Sunday and drive back on Sunday afternoon. I'll probably get a hotel in Cherokee, NC for Saturday night. Are you close enough that you can easily drive from home? I'm about 2-2.5 hours away.
