Cool Header/Cat delete - first mod - info me

I hope to be picking up my ultramarine mt end of this month or start of June. I doubt it will be stock for long and after careful consideration my first mod will likely be a header. What I am asking from you all is recommendations (without the hi jacks please). I am sure this has been mentioned before, but for my sake give me your best headers in this format.

Brand:
Price:
Expected Availability:
Why I should buy it:
Pictures of your hot girl friend (optional)

Thanks all for the input!

break the car in first, we have no idea what effects doing a header upgrade with a cat delete would do for the car before its broken in

when me and my friend built his lotus we broke the car in stock first (used my celica as the DD to break it in :P)

personally i would wait about 6 months and see what others have gotten, let people get experience with tuning the engine

doing a de-cat and headers wont bode well with the ECU, and will need a tune with the installation of a MAP sensor

I am aware, but thanks for the heads up good sir. I wont be diving in; however, I am really interested in this as it will likely be the key to squeezing a few more out imo. As you say this will likely be an involved process with a couple dollars needed to invest. I am sure there will be a slew of auto mags and shops doing this initially to learn from as I get ready, but wanted to get some knee jerk type reactions!

If you're looking for quality headers, check out Hytech

Assuming they make something for this car. I'll be working on that but I'm too far away to have them prototype.. but I'll contact John soon anyways (need a catback for the ITR too).

As for an aftermarket header, I'm not sure I've seen any yet.

personally i would wait a year for performance parts, let them do some more R&D you'll regret it when someone comes out with headers and an exhaust that push 10 more WHP for the same price and a better sound

im going to wait a year or so when it comes to that

first couple of mods im going to do
TRD supercharger
AUTO factory exhaust(mainly just for the sound)
coilovers
strut/sway bars
lightweight rims
oil collector

things ill be waiting for
headers
intake
tuning software
pistons
rods
oil sump
cams
valves/springs/retainers
9k redline

They don't look like they will be the best, but if you need to be the first on your block with headers, here you go.
