2nd generation parts are always considerably better than stuff that comes out day one.

I remember the same thing with the 8th gen si. Parts that came out 6-12 months later totally blew day one stuff out of the water.

Im not doing anything crazy till cobb comes out with a accessport for this car and i start seeing some dynos for parts.

The angle of where the primary tubes join together isn't smooth like this:

It is probably much easier installation/clearance-wise to just match the factory ones, though.

Yeah, I'm surprised at anyone wanting to do a header for their first modification . . . we've got zero evidence that there's any power to be found there on it's own. Until the aftermarket has a chance to develop/produce/test/rinse & repeat, I wouldn't get spend money on something like that.

Awwwww damn, the supercharger kit looks like it's ready to go. I added a turbo onto my current car and I told myself I wouldn't go crazy on the next car, but man that would be nice.

Dimman - you are a champ, Ill watch closely and also good info on the collectors

Ideally I am the first on the block who cares tho, but I am a data guy so I am def going to dyno stock, and hope someone has some numbers before my trigger finger gets happy.

ESBjiujitsu - haha thx, I have been driving a Prius for a while so that balances it out right?

Regarding the merge angle: that may be more of a compromise for placement rather than poor engineering. Exhaust isn't my area of expertise, so please feel free to correct my presumption.

Why cat delete? High flow cats don't rob horsepower at the level of this car.
