I replaced the plastic clip that's holding the bumper to the fender. I was following some instruction on YouTube "how to fix bumper gap". He replaced the plastic clip with a u-nut and 10mm bolt. I thought it would be a cheap fix if it was true. FYI 10mm is too thick. 5/16 works.

You can't really tell from this pic but the hole on the metal part will be thinner than the bumper clip but it will still fits.

I installed it on the 3rd of this month and I washed it 3 times with a pressure washer since install and its holding up.
If we look at the instructions included with the package you have to glue the metal piece to the bumper, not the clip , but if that worked for you then good for you

Haha. I called it differently. I actually followed the same instruction. The metal is glued on to bumper.

Cool ! Make sure to let the adhesive dry several hours before putting the bumper back on

Got them installed over the weekend, on its 3rd day now still holding up well, before I have to knee my bumper back in place almost everyday.
when I put bumper back on, the tap gave me a positive audible lock-in sound, it just felt solid and tight! hope the gorilla epoxy glue I use lasts (finger crossed)

Just got mine (took 2-3 weeks).
I was happy to discover they now come with a set of tiny nuts and bolts.
Also, came with no instructions :/
Do you think I should attach them to the top or bottom of the bumper cover?
A "before" photo attached, hopefully I'll have a much better looking "after" photo soon!

That's a good question. Maybe they will only fit one way? If you put them on the bottom then the nut or bolt head may make it too fat? Experiment and get back to us! I'll be putting mine on when it gets warm

Edit. OP appears to have put them on the bottom

You'd want them on the bottom. Nuts also on the bottom, screw's counter sunk into the plastic. That will lift the bumper up snug.

Doesn't seem to be necessary
