I am back in DC and have stopped staring at Canada from my Air BnB in Detroit. The only take away view of Canada I have from Detroit is they like a casino and more casino: ) still looks better than the run down the side of Detroit. I thought the GM building changing color depending on the day was kinda cool.

LOL Ya, I never thought of that but from Detroit the casinos would be the first thing you really see. Those casinos saved Windsor's ass after the death of the auto industry there though. Detroit is headed in the same direction and becoming more of a tourist center than an automotive one. Oh, and take my word for it there are sections of Windsor that equal Detroit's run down sections completely.

Just checking in. I still haven't blown my motor. I have had a few small issues but that's the turbo life for you.

Not THAT Woodstock. Here they are 43,000 weak. It is a redneck town with a few factories (including a Toyota plant).

Nope. But that being said I don't mind fixing small issues like draining oil from the intercool because I had about a liter of oil leak from the oil cooler into the air filter. That was fun. Everytime the BOV opened it would spray oil onto the heat wrap for the exhaust and smoke for a while. Also I am stilling dealing with BOV issues too as the one that came with the kit doesn't work, and the turbosmart I have on now is a little to stiff so I get a fair bit of midrange flutter. Oh and it also likes to freeze shut in cold weather (perks of a vented hood woot lmao) I do have a HKS SSQV4 on order now though.


With that all said, I still love the turbo. Glad I went with it.
