Gordon Murray's new 2 seater

Not surprisingly the clip is very contrived.

Lol, interesting perspective.

Incredible engineering and I like the clean, simple design aesthetic. But I have to admit, when I look at the T33 all I see is a very expensive Lotus Emira! I guess that is a credit to Lotus, that they can make a sports car that looks like a supercar costing 10 times as much.

EDIT - Also, anyone else getting a bit tired of these GMA reveals of cars that never actually get test driven and reviewed by independent journalists? Still waiting for the journo review of the T50, and now we have a T33. But all we get is a few brief clips of the GMA test driver, and these long form talk fests over non-functioning models of the cars. Time to see them in action properly!

I enjoy watching details about these cars so the answer to your question, from me, is no.
I'm guessing there won't be a press car available for testing. It will have to be a pre-production car, a GMA keeper or a owner's car. All of which are probably pretty difficult to come by.

I was in the market for one back then and now I know I'll never want to buy one.

Is this the one that was supposed to have the fan on the back?

The GMA has twice the cylinders and valves as the GT3, so despite the equal displacement, it has the advantage in flow, heat dissipation, shorter stroke for faster revs, smaller pistons for less inertia, higher compression, etc, etc, etc. It is clearly a superior engine from an output perspective. This shouldn't be a surprise, right? Like a Synergy V8 will destroy most 2-2.4L four cylinders of equal size. He is just saying the GT3 is great, but it doesn't wake up until 5k, but his car has a flatter torque curve despite the equal displacement and without sacrificing the top end power/redline.

No, this new reveal is the more ‘affordable’ T33 supercar for £1.37M. No fan. The car with a fan in the back is the T50 that retails for £2.36M.

The T50 is a spiritual successor to the McLaren F1 of the 90s whilst this T33 is meant to be a more regular supercar.

Don't get me wrong, so do I, and Gordon Murray (GM) knows his stuff, but at some point it would be nice to see the cars driven in anger and reviewed by some independent reviewers to see if they live up to the hype.

Hmm, other bespoke small scale hypercar manufacturers like Koenigsegg somehow manage to make cars available for test drives and reviews, with Christian von Koenigsegg willing to talk for hours about every minute detail (much like GM himself). Mind you, perhaps Koenigsegg feel the need for the exposure more than GMA, since GM seems to be having no trouble reaching his sale targets as is.

I'm sure at least some of the eventual owners will release videos on their cars, I'm just keen to see them in action.
