Ok, so a while back I threw a code which said something about the injectors. P1170 to be exact. Now, when it came on I was using cruise control. Recently I was driving with it on again, and once more the same problem happened. So I conducted an experiment by driving the same distance I did the previous times without cruise control. Nothing happened. I believe it has something to do with the tune so I'll need to contact Cosworth to figure it out.

Of course, if you don't put it on cruise control, it never comes on and there are no issues. I'll figure something out.

Same thing happened to me. It felt like it wanted to shut down for a sec then came back. I doubt it would change anything but have you tried it in a different map setting? They said to make sure the wiring wasn't pinched next to the cpu box. Let me know what you find out.

I believe the first time I was on map 2 (93 octane), and the second time I was on map 1 (91 oct). I didn't look for any pinched wiring so I'll have to take a look.

I hadn't seen anything wrong. I didn't see wires touching (that would cause any shortage), nothing seemed "pinched" and the injectors are fine. Personally I blame the tune. However, I don't see the harm in staying off of cruise control. As long as I don't use it, there are no problems. Though, some data logging may help to illuminate any issues.

I'm thinking about adding larger injectors, and fuel pump because I may go flex fuel. Do you guys think just the injectors and pump will yield any extra power despite the pulley staying the same?

until you go over to E85 then don't expect any power increase just from the larger injectors
as you won't be on the limit of the standard parts just yet
and you'll need a re-tune when you increase the injector size as the Pfi part will be all screwy

interested to see what she'll do on Corn juice though
300+ Whp?

Well my ultimate goal is 320-325 hp at the crank. I don't care really about making insane power. So I'm thinking I could make that with E85 or even a mixture like E50. But longevity is important, too, as I don't want to be that ricer whose always saying their car is in the shop because of some BS, despite bragging about my power.

I think delicious tuning was talking about developing an E85 tune for this kit, might be worth giving them a call

I popped codes with and with out the cruise on. Post catalyst trim to lean bank 1 only when it seem to not be under power? Never at the track. just recently the throttle/pedal position sensor/switch "A,B,E,D" CEL came on during my autocross run cleared the code and seems to be running fine now. Has any one else had any problem with the packing coming out from their exhaust?

I recently threw the lean bank 1/ running lean code when I was driving home from work. Cleared the code, checked the charge pipe and connections since I changed the filter recently. Runs fine. I tried to contact Cosworth but haven't heard anything yet. Maybe someone else can try?

might be worth contacting Nameless about the exhaust as they make it for Cosworth so their gaurentee should still apply
