Hah as an MR2 Spyder owner, I will tell you that a 2GR-FE is probably too much power for that chassis, from a sane person perspective. A tuned K20 in that car would already be insanely fast (Porsche 981 Cayman S speed), that would be my dream setup or approximately so. But I guess the ability to destroy the rear tires is pretty neat in itself.
In an Evora though it's about right, 3.5L is a healthy engine size for that porker. If you build it to match a Porsche 911's output it would suit the exotic looks pretty well. |

Numerous other cars I'd consider but without goping overboard on price, I'd definitely shoot for a '15 STI.
If I was looking into other stuff with a more hefty price tag, I'd look into a new M3 or the Alfa 4C. Just to try something different.

Well as my car hasn't been delivered yet I'd be expecting Subaru to fulfil my order if they managed to kill my car during production/shipping.

Yeah I just looked at it yesterday and Yamaha is releasing a new "Z" model to compete with it but no word from Honda or Suzuki yet I would love to see what they do to stay in the running with the new litre bikes

Used Boxster S or Cayman, or maybe M3. No doubt the maintenance costs would eventually make them uneconomical. A long shot, but maybe a Z4M coupe

I would also be very tempted to replace it with this...
Polaris Slingshot.
