Normal focal length gives you a different perceptions than those of your eyes.

You have a prime example with the last Mazda 3: it’s c pillar seemed ugly by normal photo but you had another perception by live view.

If you stay in front of the car at the distance of your photo, you have a wide perception of the hood and pushed depth by live view, almost like your pic.
There isn't that much depth in reality. The engine bay was designed to fit a boxer engine and not an inline 6 cylinder engine.

“Almost”, not the same, our brain usually corrects the distortion.

“ What focal length is equivalent to the human eye?

To summarize, though, one commonly quoted focal length of the eye is 17mm (this is calculated from the Optometric diopter value). The more commonly accepted value, however, is 22mm to 24mm (calculated from physical refraction in the eye).”

I thought the video was great. It showed all those details that I normally don’t see until I can get up close and personal with a car. I especially liked the view down onto the trunk lid. Where the quarter panels stop early, we could see the top of the tailllight housing and the depth reminds me of the GR Yaris.

Here the same. I perceive professional videos too fake.

I thank the author, especially in this moment of lack of amateur video material.

It's definitely an angle or difference in camera thing. See the GR mat underneath as well. In the first it looks orange and in second one red.

you can also tell in the overall picture of the first shot that theres a bit of yellowing all over. So the colour calibration of that video has more yellow than it should, giving the red an orange look (just compare the white tarp in the background, the pavement...theres more yellow than in the second shot)

From this angle, I see a bit of resemblance to the stillborn SFR

DON'T TALK ABOUT OUR LOST CHILD LIKE THAT.

It was heart breaking, I don't want to have to remember it.
