Very logical, I like it. Although the next fun car will not be a daily so it might live a little longer this time... getting my baby wrecked by somebody else's doing is not fun.

That really sucks. I hope everything works out for you in your favour at least.

Getting another 86 would be great, but would it be possible to hold out on official docs/announcements of the real gen 2. If so, I'd really try hard to do that.. Depending on how nice gen 2 is of course.

If you love your car as much as me, I can't see you being satisfied with another car.

Edit: I hope you had a dashcam.

It could be used as evidence to prove you are not at fault in the case of it truly being unavoidable if even driving at a safe distance.

Really I'm just hoping for the best possible outcome.

That really sucks. I'd get a BRZ

Spotted two twins together going northbound on Hurontario. One was black with a gt wing and the other was silver with a paintmatched ducktail lip

Saw a red 2017-18 BRZ on the 401W around the 427. It sounded like a motorcycle with very loud crackles I can hear from half a km away!

Fun Fact #2317
If you rear end somebody in Ontario you will always be at fault. The law is very specific and they do not have an "it was unavoidable" clause no matter what the situation was. Even if they cut in front of you and hammer on the brakes you will have some degree of fault.
Hell, I had a buddy that was stopped three cars up in line when a truck hit them all and shoved him into the car in front of him. The insurance company found he was 10% "at fault" because he "obviously" did not leave enough space between him and the STOPPED car in front. Made no difference with our no fault insurance but pissed him off royally.
