Drove my car around in pedal dance mode. Spun 8 times, barely missed a bunch of nuns crossing the street. 2 wheel drives cars and trucks were flipped over and burning everywhere, almost lost it going into the garage. God was looking out for me, did not crash.

Isn't that a scene from Fate Of The Furious?

Got a call from SJPD today. They won't press charges if I promise not to drive in pedal dance mode. I have to think about my family first. I agreed. Should have listened to @humfrz.

Was going a few over the limit and distracted and had to slam on my brakes to not run a red light today. Was scary, still a bit shook up but did not crash.

Went on a 300km road Saturday morning, arrived at my destination did not crash. Drove back the same distance later in the evening, didn't crash either. Thank god I didn't need to stop at a gas station, that could have been dangerous! (Gas light just lit up this morning at 605km!)

Well, folks, we have returned from our adventure over the mountains and into Indian country.

As we were heading out of Yakima, on a wide, straight, 4 lane, divided highway, in broad daylight some jerk just about made it a very bad day for us.

While we were cruising along at the speed limit of 60 mph, this big, ugly, pick-up truck pulled out in front of us, trying to cross the highway.

I saw him make his move and I swerved to the left into the left lane ..... he kept coming ...... I cut it more to the left into a paved cross over area in order to avoid a collision. By that time I had cleared the front of the truck was heading for the center median. I took a chance (of not over correcting) and cut back onto the road, just barely clipping the side of the median.

DAMN ....... that happened FAST!

The A-hole just kept on going ...... I don't think he saw me coming at all ......

It happened so fast, mrs humfrz didn't even have a chance to scream or flail her arms ....... nor close her eyes!

Afterwards, she complimented me on my keen eyesight, quick reactions and maintaining control of our car.

I was truly impressed about how quickly and how well our FR-S maneuvered around a very dangerous situation and recovered without losing its footing!

WE DID NOT CRASH !

Drove to Montauk Point (the absolute east end of Long Island NY right before you plunge into the Atlantic Ocean) and back. 200+ mile round trip and no accident!

If you can tolerate campy junk, the first one is a must-see just for the stupid quotes.

My kids bought me the dvd for a goof.
