Sound Generator Delete for '19 BRZ - Can't install...help!!

Hey guys,

My mishimoto sound delete kit comes with an aluminum plug for the intake hose but its few mm in diameter smaller so it wont even plug it at all.

This is so bizarre. Is there some change to the intake hose for the 17' + models? Any tips?

There were substantial changes to the 17 intake. The earlier parts are not interchangeable

That metal piece deletes the resonator underneath the intake hose, not where the sound tube goes in.

The rubber cap goes over the sound generator itself. Mishimoto assumes you have their intake pipe to delete the intake side of the sound tube...but if you don’t have that you’ll need be to buy the $2 aforementioned plug.
