Massive amount of excess sealant. This is why engines where blowing up after the valve spring recall. I knew my spidey senses where tingling when I went to reseal the timing cover so I decided further inspection was needed.

Well, it's 83 degrees outside and sunny, but my driveway is shaded. Should I go out and wash my FR-S or take a nap?

Maybe I'll kick back and think about that - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Neat set of video's I came across today. The user uses AI to upscale, increase resolution, reduce noise, and colorize early film footage footage.

There is a whole series of these on one of the specialty channels. It is called America in Color. Each episode is on a general topic and they have several restored clips for different decades.

Problem is US Toyota dealership tech doesn’t get proper training like Japan do. This is the massive reason why all the engine getting blown up from valve springs recall. In Japan, there are 86 master tech, who’s certified to work on 86 on almost all the Toyota dealership and they go through training by Toyota to make sure they’re up to date on all the maintenance and recall fix & required to be go to all those training.

While all Toyota dealership tech in US get is pdf on how-to and call it good.

No catch... at least atm. Quality is equal or maybe fraction cheaper than OEM. Other than that, everything is just like OEM.
