Not quite the Lexus LF-LC > LC500 transformation but pretty close.
Maybe it's just the color then, it just looks cheap to me for some reason. I'm sure it will look better in person like all other new Toyota/Lexus designs.

Still not a fan. Didn't really care for the front end much with the concept either.

I always thought the side profile and rear were the better angles of this car. Hopefully that remains true with the final production version

I'm not buying this is a "leak". I've been to Toyota events where they didn't want photos leaking, and they manage that pretty well. A photo inside the car carrier is way too easy to prevent.

@funwheeldrive that is one of the reasons I don't like silver cars in general. That color always screams "fleet model" to me which makes me immediately downgrade it in my mind.

Overall, it looks about like I expected, and still not sure I like. Need to see the side profile.

That everything is much more subdued than the concept was expected. I think it looks OK; not great but OK.It may have even more of a visual link to the MKIV than the concept did. I suppose my biggest complaint is that it looks narrower and taller than I would like.

Now granted I haven't read through all 220 pages, is there actually an official release date for this car? I feel it's been dragging it's feet for way too long.

Clarification of point! I never said there "would not be a 4 cylinder" I said "we don't know what there will be yet".
I have also said that if there was indeed a 4 cylinder then we may not see it here. At least not a first for the simple reason that the North American "more power" mentality would restrict sales to a level it just may not be worth their while to get it approved for sale here.

I've never liked silver paint, but I have to say that silver (or a very metallic grey) really lets you appreciate the curves and character lines of a car.

Of course, that's not always a good thing... depends on the car.
