Congrats! You and your fiancé will have a blast with this car. I have had mine since 10/30 and I can't wait to get behind the wheel ever day!

Wow, thank you so much to everyone for the welcome and congrats! @DarkSunrise I have to credit my fiance for allowing me to practice driving a manual in his tC. He wanted me to learn in case of an emergency like the zombie apocalypse wear for some odd reason all A/T car just don't work or we are out and I choose to be the designated driver for the night having left the house in his car.

Thank you to everyone for the tid bits about the car, they are duly noted. I'm finding out something new about this car everyday. Embarrassingly my round trip commute from home to work is literally 5.7 miles and everyday before I got my FR-S I could not wait to just get home. I now physically know what you all mean when this car just makes you want to drive it, because I got into the turn lane to turn towards my house and realized that I wasn't ready to go home. So I merged back onto the highway and went for a longer drive! It's just amazing!

The one downside to buying a car on a Sunday is Monday is right around the corner and that means back to work. In addition to this, we've had a lot of rain since Sunday (who thought it would rain so much in Central Florida ) so when the weather permits, I do plan to get some worthy pics for everyone, promise!

P.S. I honestly believe this car looks good in all the colors that it is available in. However, the sun peaked out for about 5 minutes yesterday afternoon and hit the pearl coat just right and I could have swore I heard the angels singing

Totally agree with you, but you know what I mean when I say it's so hard to keep her under 4k! My fiance is having a little more trouble than I, but I do feel his pain because my daily commute is all local and it's just a mean tease the whole way to work and the whole way back. Currently sitting at 287 miles, got her with 44 miles on it Sunday.

Got mine on June 1st and driving it today is still just as much fun as the first day. Like you I'll take the long way home now and again just cause I'm not ready to stop driving it just then.

Congrats and welcome to the forum!

@FRSGT86 Thank you! Looks like you were the lucky few to get the first shipment, you didn't know it then but you will know now that I was so jealous of you!
