RCE Superstreet-2 coilovers are on their way. '17 spare tire is going in the trunk. Only other mods will be CSG brake pads and fresh DOT4 brake fluid. No power mods planned at all, I'm already going to have to add about 80 lb. ballast on top of the spare tire!

I haven’t driven a 2nd gen since 12 or so months ago, it kind of convinced me to get a header and tune on my gen 1 as I really liked the low end torque of the new one. How would you compare the power/torque feel between the new one and a 1st gen with a header and tune?
I'm not really hammering the new car until I get the oil pan pulled and inspect for RTV... In normal street driving, new car feels *slower*! The '17 was super responsive to tip-in throttle, almost to a fault. New one definitely softer and less jumpy at initial/smaller throttle inputs. Which is fine. I am looking forward to hammering it once I know the oil pickup tube is clear!

ACE350 header and tune on the '17 gave *huge* midrange bump, the torque dip became a torque peak! Great mod, highly recommend for gen1.

Congratulations on the new car!
Thanks! Lovin it Except for the "welcome" chimes, gotta figure out how to mute that...
Also gotta figure out how to play my CDs, road trip coming up in a few days!
