As someone who has driven a Prius C recently, you are wrong. It feels about twice as slow.

Personally, I would never own this car (Prius) and a BRZ/FR-S. My other car has lots more storage and people moving capabilities and can actually tow something if I ever need to.

In general I don't mind the idea of driving a hybrid, and I thought my CR-Z was great. I just absolutely hate the dash layout on the Prius C.

No, I prefer the Honda hybrids like the Insight and the CRZ. Honda heavily underrates them for MPG and they come with a sport mode that is somewhat sporty. The "mild hybrid" IMA system doesn't post as high of numbers in the city but they get excellent MPG on the highway.

#2 who missed the punchline.

Yes yes yes... of course the Prius C is slower than the FRS.

That's the joke!!

The FR-S is my Prius. I average over 30MPG nearly every tank. Of course, my "other" car is a 2004 Suburban Z71, the ultimate anti-Prius, so I'm not sure I'm a good judge.

Like @DarkSunrise said, my DD has to excite me. I spend an average of 2.5 hours a day in my car, it will not be boring. I had this discussion with folks at work the other day all talking about they have these boring "commuter cars" and then a more exciting weekend car. Where's the fun in that?

On second thought, I might own a Prius but only if I pulled out the politically correct drivetrain and stuffed a small block V8 in it. Then, I'd rebadge it to something like "Prius SST" and have a little stop light fun.

on the video he said 41. i wasn't going to research it. but i am sure some of those fuelly's are a misrepresentation. I am just saying I would rather drive a diesel vw and get less mpg than a prius. think of the group of people you are lumped in with.

I would rock a Noble as my DD if I had one. Cars are meant to be driven and drive I will do. If I need to haul my CBR600 or my 450R, I will rent a truck for $50.

I had an extra 150lb of weight luggage and on soft tires while travelling around Lake Tahoe , a Prius-c was up behind me and giving me HELL there

I lost him every corner, the BRZ has way more advantage in the cornering and downhill, --he kept coming back on the uphill because he had a lighter weight advantage.

I doubt it. Over 1500 cars and over 5 million miles.
I get 46 mpg combined in my parents' Prius while not exactly taking it easy...

Don't care what group of people I'm lumped in with, but from a driving enjoyment standpoint, I'd rather have the Vdub. But no one should be under any illusions that a golf or Passat diesel gets anything like the mileage of a Prius. In town it isn't even close.

One of my DDs is capable of 200mph

i'd make it look like the yellow one (minus the LED lights obviously) and it'd make me feel better.
