Since the rest of your build is ballin out of control, you might as well just go for the Seibon carbon fiber rear seat delete:

I've seen that... no way I'm paying that much for it... plus, I'm not sporting any carbon fiber parts in my build. It very nice though.

Wow what a build. Sporadically throughout the day I have read the entire build thread.

I don't recall hearing your feedback of how the hks v3 supercharger performs. If it's not too much trouble could you please tell me your opinion of it? At what rpm do you really feel the torque? Any intake noise or blow off valve noise?

I'm looking at purchasing this kit but going down a different route to you. I want to powder coat all of it to make it look like a factory option and not stand out too much.

Keep it up mate

Thanks to @Kami Speed for bringing this brand to my attention. Another high quality product from Japan to add to my build.

Exceptional Quality! Highly impressed with the Essex brand!

In case any of you weight conscious builders are wondering total weight for everything including the hardware was @15.4 lbs

@johl Thanks for taking the time to read my thread! Hoped it helped you in some way.

I love my HKS GT v3 supercharger! I feel that the power is very linear gaining power up until @5500 rpms then it starts to come on strong...It pulls hard from there on out until cutoff... The bypass valve sound isn't exceptionally loud... the sound of it isn't anything unique either... What I mean is it wasn't engineered for a unique sound like my raptor blowoff valve on my last build (350Z)... that thing sounded like a laughing hyena... it was cool because it was unique. This one is just a bypass valve, nothing more nothing less. I'm not complaining though.

I definitely will recommend this supercharger to you. I purchased mine at @kamispeed . Give them a shot at earning your business they have been nothing but awesome with me!

I agree with you that powder coating the system would also look good. The factory finish is the weakest point of this supercharger system... but that is also subjective... I care about that kind of thing though...

I love the finish of all my Beatrush parts... In fact, I modified my build's theme to incorporate the Beatrush gold instead of painting or powder coating over the color.

Since I will be installing a harness bar from Essex Parts Services, I wanted to paint it Beatrush gold to go along with my theme and create some contrast in my interior.

For those interested, the output color code my friend's spectrometer spit out is shown in the accompanying image.

I'm kind of curious on how you will mount your harness, specifically the anti-sub belts. are you going to drill into the floor and mount them that way, or wrap them around the cross bar of your seat base bracket?

Not sure how I'm going to do it yet... I'll post pics of my install when it is complete.

I will receive my seat and rail sometime late this month.

No real update... just mentioning what I've been up to besides waiting for parts and paint.

Finally got around to painting my garage. Also added some more shelves. Looks like a real home for my 86 now... lol Not sure when but I plan on prepping and painting my garage floor with an epoxy kit. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Received my Bride Zeta III yesterday from @Kami Speed... damn it is gorgeous! Rail should arrive today... I was considering going with one seat but this seat is too awesome to just have one.

I want to wrap the back of the seat (FRP) in a vinyl close to oem 37J or Beatrush gold. May even have it painted.

Hope to have my Essex harness bar, HPI 5-point harness, and Bride seat and rail installed soon.

I've been on a hiatus because of other obligations but things are finally slowing down.

I decided to order second Bride seat, rail, and harness... it was just too nice to have only one. I'll do that this week... possibly today.

I still need to have the Essex harness bar painted Beatrush gold... I will also wait to install the seats because I want to have the seat backs painted 37J. I still haven't decided how exactly I'm going to go about a rear-seat delete if at all. Cant wait to get all this done.

No other specific plans at the moment but that situation is fluid... we'll see what happens in 2017...I am trying to be ready for a strong 2017 car show season. Also, I hope to add a few more sponsors this year as well as achieve some media exposure.

Can't wait to post updates!

Pulled the trigger... Second Bride seat, rail, and HPI harness (4-point) are ordered... not sure what is next although this OS Giken grand touring clutch crossed my mind...
