wiring harness
Anyone know which speaker wiring harness works with the front 3.5" speakers? Crutchfield was no help and it looks different from the one used in the 2012 tC.

Hmmm, that is a good question. That plug does not look familiar to me. Maybe cruise by a local audio shop (even a best buy or similar) who carry wiring harnesses and see if you can match them up with the speaker.
Check Toyota harnesses first, as Subaru has used Toyota connectors for years. No matter whether you have an FRS or a BRZ, chances are that the connector is a Toyota model. |

Also, try posting a pic on the long-standing Scion forums (scionlife, for example). There may be a common speaker between these vehicles and the tC/xB, etc.
From my Subaru experience (4+ years and all chassis except the tribeca), they don't look familiar. They actually look like the harness plug from a B15 Sentra with a-pillar-mounted tweeters. I don't think that they are the same- just similar. That would be interesting, as I found some Nissan switches and relays when doing the install in my WRX. |
