I went with Borla UEL since it produced the best rumble in my opinion.

There's some nice EL headers but it's worth noting they do a little less against the "dip" and more for the peaks. It's honestly a non issue for me-- the Silvia is fairly cammy and won't respond properly below 4,000 RPM anyway so I'm kinda used to a peaky motor, the dip doesn't bother me.

I'm going to go EL for the sound, Porsche style bark. But, that's me. Wait for more header dynos for salient information.

best performance is an equal length header 90% of the time....manufactures will even tell you that. Correct me if im wrong but isnt the the whole reason they had an Uel header on the ej25 was to fit the turbo in how they wanted correct?

JDL UEL for me. Because Subaru.

Also because torque bump (with JDL UEL header, E85 tune, intake, headerback)

Not my car or my dyno, still waiting on my header. It's @Simmons BRZ, I just love spamming this dyno chart, tee hee.

My car had lightweight (Raceseng) pulleys on it for the dyno.

EL = More optimal flow
UEL = More rumble in the jungle

On a N/A setup you're not going to feel a difference between the two in performance. Go with what you feel better with.

I disagree, look at my dyno from the JDL UEL. About the Best tq curve I have seen from Any header so far?

Easily. Completely killed the dip without adding another one and great top end.

What if I were to turbo, does that change the decision on equal and unequal?

Does having a non-catted header make it illegal? In CA? or does that have to do with the front-pipe. I'm new to this front side of the exhaust system ^_^.
