to those of you that have hit 200whp (presuming it's on e85), how much did it cost? how much more would it've cost to just toss on a turbo and be done with it?

Well, Ecutek software, license, cable, and E85 tune $900. Header $625, header back exhaust $600, so I have $2,125 into it. Torque dip is gone, pulls good down low and up top, and sounds great too. Basic turbo kits start around the $3500-$4500 and should net you 250-300whp out of the gate.

Why would anyone want 130ft-lbs and 218 hp at 8500 over 165ft-lbs and 190hp at 6500.....

Hondas have always been torque less wonders... Kinda reminds me of the last gen celica... Slow as balls because it had zero tq.

HP sells cars....Torque wins races.

Going to my setup exactly except I will have an aFe Intake, and FA20Club 91 and E85. After I get into my house, later this summer, the JDL header is my next purchase along with the Front pipe and maybe the overpipe as well

Not everyone wants to deal with turbo's or FI.

That was my exact train of thought to go FI but header was more like $1k, headerback more like $1400.

between ATL BRZ's dyno and the k20 i don't see much difference....15 hp or 10tq

5k-7k or 6.5k to 8.5k

I don't think you'd benefit much on a swap....IMHO

Not my dyno or my car. It was @Simmons BRZ tuned by @moto-mike , as I mentioned in that post.
