Really? According the the tracker the ship is just off the coast of townsville at the moment, i'd have thought it'd be much further away considering delivery isn't for another 3 weeks?

it lands in melb next weds on 19th. then u got the xmas break where i doubt anyone will be working so it'll be sitting in the holding yard til after xmas where it'll be prepared and next thing ya know it'll be jan 2013.

Funny, an average drive-in theatre from 'days of old' would handle 450-500 cars, these ships carry around 1,500!! Gives an idea and if only 250 or so are 86's, wonder what else is in there?

My status just changed from Scheduled for Production to "In Production"
Ordered 23 June 2012 White GTS AT
EPUD Tracking is 17 Jan 2013 - my dealer told me he has 12 Jan 2013 pick-up !!!
One month to go.

Hopefully it catches Trans Future 7 which leaves Japan next week.

I've progressed to 'IN TRANSIT', latest est. pickup date (NSW) is 8/1/13. Any idea what vessel that may be?

There's 2 vessels I can think of:
Viking Amber to dock Port Kembla on 26 Dec
Trans Future 5 to dock PK on 20 Dec

I have been "in Production" for about 4 days now, so hopefully will be on the water within a few more days.

Well sigh. Since I didn't know about when I'll be getting my car (and after contacting my dealer a few times to get a better idea so I can sell my car) it looks like I am going to be stuck with my old car still. He told me a month before it'll arrive that I'll get my car. I put my car on carsales that weekend (had to just give it a clean and take nice pics) and its still on carsales.
Gawd dammit. Not sure what to do. They offered me 9k for it. What a joke at 2.5k under redbook.

Has put a real dampener on the excitement.

so my car is sitting at port kembla. been there since last friday (7th). Dealer says they have no contact from the dock yard on when it will get transported to the dealership lol. system says estimated 17th and then another 3 days for prep, so somewhere around the 20th ill get the car.

seriously, 2 weeks from docks to hand? what a joke.

And mine as well. My tracker says the 7th on Jan.
Honestly, the fact it's on its way now is the news I'm loving.
