When I installed the Tstat I did note that oil was in the 80Cs rather than 95C but never did any proper data logging.

My coolant sits very low when im just cruising at 75Mph on the motorway, ~74-75C in the summer which does not help oil to water coolers as theyll be over cooling in my experience, not as badly as oil to air obviously but still struggled to get oil above 80C.

Ive actually put a 93C thermostatic sandwich plate on with my Mocal oil to water and now oil stays in the low 80Cs in the winter and quickly gets to 95C+ when I use the loud pedal.
Same here with coolant temps. Seems to hit equilibrium at low-mid 70s. Just compared 2 long logs which involve pretty much entirely motorway cruising. Pre-stat was oil sat around 97 and coolant at 89. Post-stat it's 85/74.

I run the jackson racing dual radiator. Works great on track. (Intermediate) With the low temp t-stat its a little too cool on the street.

See I actually thin the Tstat has a significant affect on oil temps even at the track.

Could be a good option for the occasional trackday without the extra complications and failure points that come with an oil cooler setup.

Dan has his setup so the red light comes on at 130C which is awsome.

Anyone running this kit on a 2017 or 2018 yet??

It seems the filter won't fit, but that's no big deal because they changed the airbox for the manual 2017/2018. There are a couple filters out there specifically for this airbox now, but besides that, any fitment issues? It seems like the Edelbrock and Harrop are requiring some modifications.

See post 904. Think no modifications are required except the air filter, this one of the reasons why I pull the trigger on the cosworth. Of course the cosworth engineering and r & d is the strongest reason

Good to know some folks with the tS model will be equipping their cars with a Cossie kit! I just hope somewhere someone will have one still around for sale in a year from now. :/

You and me both. I have changed my mind about the Cosworth Supercharger and want to get one, but it would be about a year before I could afford it.

Hoping to!! I'm still debating between this, JSRC, and Sprintex, but I'm hearing the Sprintex fitment is very tight on 17/18s; I'm not totally sold on the centrifugal/rotrex; so the Cosworth is sounding like it might be the best option! It's nice they have come a bit down in price too!

I agree. The price is tempting!
