PDR Recommendations in NY or CT
I got a nice dent on my hood thanks to a falling tree nut today.
Can anyone recommend a really good PDR tech in the Hudson Valley area or Western CT? I'd even be willing to trek to a surrounding area for the right guy. |

An episode on Drive Clean about PDR Technicians and they shot it Proformance Industries in New Rochelle. I've even emailed Larry the host and responded the same place. Haven't gone there either.

Any good PDR's in long island, i got a nasty ding on the roof as well but don't feel like going all the way to New Rochelle. (I'm sure they are pretty expensive too, they work on premium cars.)

I called around and my local PDR techs were talking about either lightly wetsanding the clear bra after, or that the aluminum hood was no different than a steel one.
So I called up Proformance Industries in New Rochelle, and George repaired my dent yesterday. He was able to get 90-95% correction on the aluminum hood without touching the topside (clear bra). I'm MORE than happy with his work, and he was a really down to earth car guy. Reasonable price for the quality of work, too. If you're in the area and need any kind of body work or performance mods, give them a call. |
