I think you should liquidate your entire portfolio and 401k and buy every TRD part you can buy. Corner the market. Would love to see how this little experiment would work out.

If that does not work maybe an NFT of TRD parts or maybe a TRD coin.

Great post OP...

My 99 Eclipse Turbo was so much fun (and not much of a chore to drive every day) until I went T3/T4 hybrid turbo, bigger wheels/tires and coilovers, etc...

Yeah, the car was quick and held the road pretty well, but I was fixing or adjusting something nearly every month, getting vibrated into oblivion on rough roads, and the car ate brake pads and tires like they were free
(that could have also been attributed to me beating the car within an inch of its life though...

YUP!

Bought my current FRS this summer and swapped the lowering springs for stock items. What a relief to put all that bump stop crashing behind me.

I will retain the UEL headers and Invidia exhaust though. Not too loud, and, coupled with the engine tune, I appreciate the revised power band. The CAI might be the next to go. Also wouldn't mind trading my heated leather Katzkin seats for a set of stock units in good condition.

As others have said, the car was damn fine in OEM state. Drive (and enjoy) the car one has, instead of yearning for the car one doesn't have. That's my new motto (after many thousands of dollars down the drain, on a whole raft of cars).

Hope my wife doesn't read this post!

OEM + Is the term to cure the itch for modifier without getting crazy in the rabbit hole
