Well someone just threw a rock to my wife's car and broke the windshield 2 months ago and this happened. I would definitely smack the crap out of him tho.

Trust me it gets easier, but your car will get worse... 2nd law of thermodynamics my friend. I've had my car for 85k, and its been through the wringer unfortunately but it is my daily, and i plan on keeping it till it dies. Its only natural for idiots/roads to f*** up my pride and joy.
I've actually been hit on 2 different occasions in parking lots, and both instances the person did not leave their insurance info.

I agree man. The only thing left is to enjoy the car. I have not driven it too often for the fear that this might happen but it is what it is now. Sorry it happened to you too. Yeah, this car is worth keeping.

Not only is it worth keeping, but the resale value for a high mileage frs plummets lmao. Don't get me wrong though, I still hate to see new scratches, and I absolutely lose it when I see door dings or when my car gets hit. But at the end of the day, my car still drives just as beautifully. And new damage always gives me more things to upgrade... With the exception of my dented quarterpanel because I'm not down for a widebody

So I'm thinking it will eventually turn into a project car when I buy another dd years later.

Will post pics when car is fully repaired. This is now an insurance claim since i need to replace the glass too. The scratches on the glass were deep and i already see cracking. The body shop will install the rear windshield too.

That sucks, but at least it's getting fixed, that can't be said all the time.

So true. Things like this happen and it always fall on the question "when?". Life moves on.

Suggestion here, dashcam with Cellink battery B or Lukas LV 530 UPS so you can have some surveillance and such when the car is off over night or unattended while your off at work for up to 12 hours. Thats my current setup and it's good insurance in "worse off" areas if you will.
