LF-CC vs RC
Looks nothing like the LF-LC what so ever. |

RC is an odd ball, like RX is. It doesn't compete directly with M4, which its sedan counterpart is IS arch-rival.

uh how about something called the RS5 and C63 AMG. not everything has to compete directly with freaking BMW... the 3 series arch rival is the Mercedes C class. where do you come up with this stuff?

lol never said that. was just stating that BMW is the only one that downsize while the RC-F and next C AMG will remain a V8. other automakers want to keep their V8s, nothing wrong with that. |

Last IS-F had M3 as the benchmark, so if the RC is IS coupe, it should compete directly with M4. However, additional weight and power put RC-F in a different class. You're right, it could compete with RS5 and C63 AMG 507.

yes the RC-F, RS5 and ect are going to weight more than the new M4. but im pretty sure some people will still be cross shopping between the two. its like if the new Supra will be a 6 cycle turbo while the base C7 is a NA V8, but there are still going to be some cross shopping between the two. Toyota acutally used the E92 M3 coupe as a benchmark for the RC-F |

Head designer said himself that I6 might not be the only engine for car, but he wants the concept to be in lineage with Supra.

I'm glad Toyota plans on building the Supra in-house. Yamaha tuned I6 would be awesome.
