Pretty good so far - during testing I had set up a scenario and repeated it several times as consistent as I could; in that particular scenario I would see a significant delta with one side equipped and the other without.
Though, how much cooling is obtained is going to be due to many factors, eg. how far you've driven to allow it to cool, how fast you got up to speed, time to measurement - but the results from the repeated scenarios do show a trend that the deflector is doing its job. Some of the local guys are taking it to test on track during the next few days, will certainly be able to get some feedback from them. |

These look good. My car has 17x9 Apex wheels with 245/40 tires. I tried to refit the Porsche deflectors to my car. I trimmed them way down but never could get it so the tires didn't rub. If you haven't already, test fit your deflectors with aftermarket wheels and tires.

I have considered it but not fully explored that option - last I looked around it was prohibitively expensive for the expected demand.
However the current printed piece is very solid - I would think that I may have overengineered it in terms of structural strength (not an actual engineer) but I prefer having a larger safety factor. The deflector is light too, about 115g for each side. Since it is sitting on the lower arm it would technically be considered as unsprung weight, though it's unlikely to be a major concern but always an advantage to maximize what's available. |
