Valenti tail light intermittent

After several years my Velenti tail lights are having intermittent segment fail. I was following my son in my car and most of the time one segment (three LEDS) of the amber turn would not work, and the same for the red brake LEDS.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so do you have an answer?
I feel that it is a "cold" solder joint, and plan to take the light apart to resolder the joints. Has any one taken these lights apart? Like to paint.

I really like these lights but not enough to buy a second new set.

Search on here, I've seen a few threads about this issue and one guy even took his apart and re-soldered the circuit board.

That is what I plan to do, Looking for some info on separating the lens from the light. I am sure there is a better way than a chisel and hammer.

There is a DIY about oven baking them... Let me see...

Here are a few.

I'm not sure about those tails but I've had success with baking headlights in the oven to loosen the glue, low heat.

My Valenti's are failing as well in the same manner described, but I'm probably just going to sell mine cheap. I hear it's a fairly common issue with these lights after about the 1.5-2 year mark.

I cut away the inside of the dust shield to get a look at the inside. I found that the daughter boards had to come out toward the lens. The lens is not glued in the normal manor, it is either sonic welded or RF welded together. Making separation almost impossible.
The parts are not board mounted witch means that there is movement and after vibration and time the solder joint can crystalize and become intermittent if not perfect.

I can get to only a few with the opening I made.
