Tomei UEL header w/ Borla Axel Back

Hi Guys,

Just installed the Borla touring axelback to my existing setup (Tomei UEL & Overpipe, Motiv catted downpipe, and OEM mid pipe). It's very loud. I only wanted to get a better tone with the setup I had and it sounds like a track car.

Any recommendations, tip silencers, go back to factory front pipe?

Thanks

Factory front pipe should fix most of it. You still have a catless header though.

I've had nearly the exact same set up but ended up getting the jdl ultra quiet front pipe down the road. You could try that.

How is that front pipe? Did it change the sound much, quiet it?

It's hard to tell. I think it sounds the same as my old set up honestly. I had the berk catted front pipe with this set up but I got the jdl because I switched to the hks hi power for a bit. I'm actually really surprised you think it's loud.
