Nolathane/Whiteline cause I'm cheap and did not go with a spherical. Will see how well it holds up. The durometer is gonna be softer as well as the recess holes should allow some give. Might be a good thing, or it might be a bad thing. Or both. I'll find out soon.

I had some front arms that I already pressed the bushings into to discover that one of the welds is cracked. Looks like the doner car, a 19 BRZ, lauched off the passenger arm and flipped. Cracked one of the welds connecting the tube holding the rear bushing. Looks straight, the paint cracked off over the weld when I was about to mount them. I may just run a bead on top of the crack and cross my figers its straight.

I haven't had any issues in those situations but every area is unique. I even installed a front lip and have had very minor scraping.

As far as the B6 combo the short answer is yes, B6 do work.
That combo was recommended by @Racecomp Engineering . if you wanted more technical information, they can provide as they are one of the experts on the subject.

I was looking to upgrade my 2014 BRZ with lightly use 2018 OEM SACHS PP SHOCKS. What else should I consider other than a straight swap?

Not so common upgrade but quite useful if you have developed sensitivity to the nuances & feel of your car: TRD DOOR STABILIZER. It stiffens the mid section by removing the door door striker gap & thereby making the mid a solid area to reduce chasis flex especially in sudden turns while maintaining its neutral feel.

STI springs will lower the car about 0.75". TRD springs will lower it around 1-1.25". The TRD lowering springs are quite cheap too on Amazon/Ebay via a Toyota Dealer.

I highly recommend Bilstein B6 too as it improves ride comfort while keeping the planted & sporty feel of the car without the HARSHNESS of the stock especially on uneven roads/potholes. If you pair it with the lowering springs like TRD, the car will sit tiny bit higher, perhaps around 0.95". I can't remember the reason for this if it's bec. the shocks are more resistant to compression vs oem or something about its physical structure that's a tad longer than oem. Nevertheless, it's a huge improvement performance-wise over OEM.

If you want more feel on your wheels/tires, go with lightweight racing wheels like Enkei RPF1 & PF01. Both are around 17 lbs (16.5 I think) at 17x7.5 vs 20 lbs 17x7.0 stock. Even at 18x7.5, they sit less than 18 lbs (17.7 I think) vs 24 lbs TRD 18x7.5. Heavier wheels & thicker tires will dampen road vibration.

So I've decided on the Bilstein B6s and the RCE Yellows along with various bushings and whatnot. Can anyone chime in about this setup raising the car height by an inch, though? Although I don't want to lower the car, I'd rather not raise it, either.

As far as wheels, I'm leaning towards the RPF-01s. I've always liked them from my Evo days and I'm not really seeing any "newer" wheels that offer a similar price/weight combination besides maybe like Apex wheels.

Konig wheels are pretty close to RPF1 - they are typically cheaper but also weigh a little more. Their Hypergrams are the lightest, but there are a few other models that are fairly light and affordable.
949 6UL are also light and affordable.
Still, hard to beat RPF1's on weight short of forged. Plus RPF1 are available in more sizes (almost nobody makes 17x7 or 17x7.5 light wheels, for example).

These three was my short list, and I ended up with RPF1's in 17x7.5 which are identical to stock PP width and offset.

Edit: looks like 949 don't have their 6UL in 17x8 anymore for 5x100. They had them when I was shopping a few months ago.

Sweet, I'm pretty dead set on the RPF1s, but I'll take a look at the Konigs, too.

wow someone unironically recommended the TRD door stabilizers.

They are a quality piece though. Its really the only option we have for our cars whereas Miata owners can buy $20 bushings that do the same thing. I would be rocking them if I didn’t strip the hell out of the Phillips head screws holding on the oem latches on one side of the car

RCE yellows should lower the car 0.8 inches, why would car be *raised*?

I think the sygfrid worded that a little confusingly...

The higher gas pressure of Bilsteins raises the car a few mm compared to an OEM damper. I think he meant to say that the 1.25 inch drop of TRD springs ends up being about a 0.95 inch drop. Something like that.

Ah, I got it! I should measure my ride heights, probably up a bit from the -1.25" it was at with the stock PP struts/shocks. Which is fine! In fact just the other day I was lookin at the car thinking it's not *that* low...
