Yup the crooked steering wheel sounds like an alignment problem. Might want to check for suspension damage too.

Edit: also check the tie rods.

Curb checks sometimes causes paranoia, making you think something is wrong with the car. Check the inner wall of both tires. Also use your hands to check the wheel gap, see if there is any difference between the two. You can also shake the wheel to see if its moving in anyway awkwardly.

I can almost guarantee that you bent the A-arm, really not the worst thing. You can get that replaces and the issue will go away, just be aware that you will need that suspension piece and it runs around $500 with the install. Shit happens.

Wheel bearing is the first to go when you do something like that and is likely the noise you hear.
Jack up the car on that side and then spin the wheel.
If the wheel does not spin smoothly or you hear any noise swap it out.

Also have the wheel balance checked and you will need an alignment.
The only thing you would have bent is the lower control arm or tie rod.

To be safe swap the wheel bearing, lower control arm and bolts and tie rod end and bolts. All of that will cost you around 400-600 if you do it yourself. It's an hour job.
Regardless at a minimum replace wheel bearing get wheel balanced and you NEED an alignment.

I've damaged my rims ... twice actually .. haven't found any issues as of yet .. no pull left/right no awkward bumps etc.
I'll still get the wheel balance and alignment check up later to make sure haha

I guess the lesson here is to NEVER let ANYONE ELSE drive this car, even if they're family members.
