Sti molded stripe install
Hi guys,
Just wanted to ask what the best way is to install the molded sti red molded stripe on the bumper. Will the original tape stick strong enough or should I use something with it together. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It should hold up if you start with a clean surface stripped of dirt and wax. You will get the best results if you take your time and don't rush it.

Did not have time to install and the temperature outside has dropped. I don’t know wether the tape on the piece is less or more stronger than the 3M. Will the outside temperature have a dramatic effect. Should a heat gun help? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Should work on it when the outside temperature is perfect. The best result is to have the vehicle in the sun, and you will have a dramatic effect if it's too cold. Heat gun should help, but you would have to take your time heating the bumper a bit and slowly peeling the tape as you go. The tape should hold if you bought the part from the local/online OEM dealers.
