GR86 Configurator is live!

We have been waiting for a while and it’s live on the Toyota website now! Getting closer!

Apparently some locations don’t have it updated yet. For reference, I used zip code 95747.

Yup and similar fender inserts from STI for the BRZ.

The pricing for the accessory packages seem to be great versus buying some of them individually.

I think it is hilarious that we find these things before they are even ready to release them.

I am hoping I can get the Toyota sub for my 2022 BRZ since so far Subaru isn't selling one.

It's not there anymore. I don't see anything, not even with the zip code provided by the OP.

Simple: Base GR86, MT, Trueno Blue, no accessories: $28.7 k incl destination. About $3k more than I paid for my FR-S, but not bad allowing for inflation and additional performance.

I thought the same thing, but i'm curious how the molding is designed to sit in the trunk. In the config, it says "Can easily be removed from your GR86 when trunk space becomes a premium...."

Does it literally sit behind the back seats so it's in the way with the seats down? Must see more info before spending $700 on a sub or just wait for a dealer that does them at cost.

Odd, I still see it. Try another browser or clearing cache/cookies!

It looks like it sits on the driver side behind the quarterpanel and taillight. But it looks like it does take up a good chunk of space since the trunk isn't exactly big to begin with, so seems more noticeable than it was in my Mustang.

Ah - yeah it does. I initially added that when looking at the spec/price sheet. I may hold off on it to see how it sounds without it first and if it's even necessary. $700 is lot lol.

I'm curious, since 2022 will be the 10th Anniversary of the 86 platform, if there will be a 10-Series kind of special edition planned.

It would seem to me if they did one it would be a 2023 model car, since the 2012 release was a 2013 model.

I thought the first year was 2013? Maybe a nice special edition will come out next year.
