HELP! I need new tires!

I have been doing a lot of research and reading on the forums and haven't really gotten anywhere.

I know I'll sound dumb when I say this and people might comment on here anyway but screw it.

I'm not the type of person that wants my passengers (girls I take on dates) to have the harsh and noisy ride that the FR-S comes with. However, I still want to "show off" a little bit and get the car sideways, tires squealing and all.

So what I need are some good tires that aren't louder or stiffer than the stock tires, but have just a little bit more grip than the stock tires.

Please give me your thoughts and ideas. I'm down for criticism.

MPSS FTW!

The prius tires are LRR. Low rolling resistance. They are a quiet tire when driven conservatively. They also slide nicely. I like grip. I have 245/35/18 MPSS.

I also have MPSS they're arent loud, they grip much, much better than stock. I was able to slide mine pretty easy, on accident, with no traction control and just shifting from first to 2nd.

I cringed a bit when I slid though because MPSS aren't cheap tires.

If anything go down to your local America's tires and ask whats the cheapest they got

America's tire gets my vote too. I have bought 50 sets of tires from them. Good service in my area.

I paid $207 each.

Nitto Invos are prefect for you. I ran them for half of last year and they are better then stock in every way. They excel in being the quietest tires I have ever heard, they ride super nice, are amazing in the rain and the dry traction is not too bad, only a little more then stock so you can still throw it around a bit.

Oh I know.. Chicks dig the sports car they've never heard of.

LOL. I pick up my brother all the time (he's in highschool) and most of the other kids all over it.

I can also suggest, for tires on a budget:

Dunlop RE760
BFG Sport Comp 2
Sumitomo htr z III

The Sumitomos are louder.

I have owned all three.
