So you are saying even without specific maps in Ecutek to take advantage of it, the car is learning based off the wideband rear O2? Or is the ECU setup to use the signal? I'm going to try and get my failsafe installed this weekend.

Found the problem, either I overlooked this reading how everyone else did it or my car just had to be different.

I noticed while testing my new 700cc Injectors to ensure they sealed that my throttle body sounded like it was moving. There was an audible noise like it was going back and forth between slightly opened and closed.
I decided to disconnect the Wideband and it went away, plugged it back in and it came back... cut the signal wire for the Wideband and it kept doing it.. cut the power wire and it stopped....

I have now completely rewired the AEM and only connected the singal wire to the Rear O2 harness. No more noises from the Throttle Body and everything appears to be working.

I have the injectors in but after all that my back hates me so I am going to wait until tomorrow to install the new fuel pump and take it for a spin.

But this goes to show do not power and ground the AEM through the rear O2. Or if you do don't ground it here maybe that is the issue... I didn't test that.

Do the following and it will for sure not effect the TB;
1) AEM White Wire to Rear O2 Blue Wire (Signal)
2) AEM Brown Wire to Rear O2 White Wire (Ground for Signal Ref)

Put the Red and Black AEM wires to a different power and ground or test your luck with using the Black 12v power in the Rear O2 and grounding the AEM Black wire to the chassis, it might work.

I connected white wire to Blue in Rear O2 harness.

Brown wire same ground as everything else (bolt that holds fuse box inside cabin). Ecutek log AFR is spot on with AEM gauge readings.

Edited my post as I just realized I asked what you just answered in the previous post lol. So where is the ECU ground, is it a specific wire in the ecu connectors or another location around it? Thanks

Option A

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=57902&page=7

Option B
Just rescale the front sensor , not rearly needed for NA cars though.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82875

on an OFT Front 02 sensor is "AFR"

REAR 02 sensor is "Wideband AFR" shiv was going to put out a plug and play wideband kit but it died off for some reason.

died off officially due to OFT300 development taking priority- my guess is they just saw not enough demand for the effort needed

There are tons of people out there using OFT so maybe get a thing going and he'll push it through.

Mine also like to try and die now at stop lights when you first hit the gas, rpm's go down to 400 or less then come back up.
Then while cruising timing is jumping all over as is afr, just cruising at say 40mph. 11-16afr just putting along. It's annoy and frustrating because it does it the more you drive. Mike thought it was LTFT and shut that off, it did nothing to fix it. For me driving it has become an exercise in hitting the gas before the light turns green to handle the dip and dealing with my car basically feeling like it is fighting me.

But all of this goes away if I disconnect the signal wire to the Ecu.... screams to me that no matter what the Ecu is making adjustments based off that signal and considering mine is not matching the factory front O2 the Ecu just seems to be fighting with itself and making me not want to drive my car.
Im having the same issues except i took the rear o2 out and used the aem o2 and harness

There are settings that need to be zeroed out if you repurpose the rear sensor input or remove it completely. I would expect that would clear the issue as the secondary sensor does impact fueling.
