Update

"We’re going to configure ROM version ZA1JS00C for your BRZ today to see if the performance changes."
-calibrations

They also modified the K00C to test the MAF before they run the new ROM.

It looks like they're digging into the tune, I'm hopeful I can help them help me help others by correcting their tune! I'm pretty stoked, and I'm optimistic they'll be able to identify and correct whatever bug is coming up.

edit: below are the data logs with Edelbrock's K00C MAF rescaled. It looks way better than it was.

I just got my kit installed on a 2017 BRZ, I'm seeing a similar issue. Who did you contact at Edelbrock? Maybe I can help by providing additional information/logs.

I didn't get a specific name, just calibration@edelbrock.com

Did you get the 1556 with the ECUTEK tune?

I did get a 1556 with ECUTEK tune. I purchased it from Summit, but upon calling Edelbrock, I found it has a 3 bolt bypass valve. Pinching the line solved the issue.

When you say pinching the line solved the issue what do you mean? If you keep that closed at all times, you'll never have boost. That line on the back closes the port in the manifold allowing air to go through the SC.

Talking S10C tune update

So I've been using the K00C tune with the MAF scaling from Edelbrock for a while, and had no issues. It looks like it's pushing around 225HP (using an ELM scanner and TORQUEPro app.) The downside is that the K00C is it's an older ECUTek program.

Edelbrock was kind enough to send a modified 2019 S10C tune, which I'm now testing out. It has more bells and whistles. Initially the idle was pretty negative (-15 ish) but seems to have smoothed out. It had some hesitation during moderate acceleration but again that seems to be smoothing out as well. I'll keep updating as I go along.

https://datazap.me/u/snowtaipan/s10c-logs?log=1&data=2

I'm also going to update the original post as "Fixed" since the issue was clearly the tune, now it's just a question of how much better it can get.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped, you guys made a world of difference, and I'm back to shredding tires thanks to y'all.

I will add a data point. May or may not be useful.

My car has a JRSC. About 6 or 8 months ago I have been getting p0172. LTFT will usually read -39ish when it happens. Attempts of solving it includes cleaning MAF and replacing MAF, which when performed will immediately drop LTFT back to 0ish. Also vented both breathers to atmosphere. But the code keeps coming back. Sometimes it takes days sometimes it takes weeks. So today when it happened again, I simply just disconnected the MAF connector and reconnected it and LTFT dropped back to 0ish!

My next step is when it happens again, I will just wiggle the connector a bit and see if it fixes the problem.

You can see the cable in this picture. It does not come with the protection sleeve like JR cable but you can transfer from the older one.

Man, at 6400 rpm you have direct injection PAST spark fire.. that s super bad and I can t believe they re going to keep you like that
Also why all these random logged values? did you purposely modified the live data list?

could be a mislogging but to be sure you should log with the default values and add cylinder misfire #1-4 and direct injection angle di
also Di duration in ms

I believe he means "temporarily" solves the issue, i.e. closes the vacuum leak caused by the hole in the bypass valve diaphragm.
It is not recommended to cap off the bypass valve line as this would result in the valve returning to it's home, resting position which would mean all air would pass thru the SC rotors. (no bypass)
