Sure, I get that but I'm thinking how much does an owner want to compromise? And I'm not suggesting there is a correct answer here, just that the article reads like it may be too demanding, too un-compromised for some people as a daily driver.
Is the GR4 a DD? I don't think so.. more like the GP and other "specials" that come under "play things"..

I going with it's a Toyota so it will be dailyable.

Of course I have no idea and have given you a thanks because I thought your reply was sound.

BUT, I am confident, so much so I am willing to be 10 cents (AUD ( can I do that? Use Australian dollar sign for cents?)) that the Yaris will be more dailyable* than an Elise.

*Is that a transitive verb?

I mean, the ride height on the 86 is due to Toyota internal guidelines on minimum ground clearance.

I'm not super into owning track/weekend cars, maybe if I had land and disposable income it would be more appealing, but I like cars that I can drive all the time. And spending some time in a decently modified F56, I have a hunch that GP works isn't all that hype.

I couldn't find a straight answer on if there GP comes with an LSD, does anyone know? Even with the stock detuned B48 at 189hp it badly needs a diff and -3 degrees of camber if you want to push it hard and not eat tires.

According to the Car review (as referenced above) it does have a mechanical diff with maximum locking ratio of 31%. The car only comes in AT and the engine is the same unit found in the new BMW 135i..

Thanks for the "thanks", much appreciated.. I will one day return on the good will.. as for Toyota only making transitive verb cars is rather depressing. Who knows they may have suffered an intransitive verb or something..

BTW, when I was transitioning from one job to another, I gave up my company car and I transitive verbed by Exige.. it was for about 6months.. no issues.. it was quite nice driving something exotic to work..

OK, so let's say you get the GR Corolla, or GR Yaris for you lucky European bastards. What mods would you intend to do with it?

I'd probably start with the TOM'S lip kit they make for the Corolla. Of course that's based if they don't change the front bumper too much. After that, probably a tune, drop in air filter, and a catback. I think that would be perfect for me. Springs, too, possibly.

Tune and anything else that may be required to make the tune work, wider rims, possibly a different exhaust if the OEM is too polite. Not too sure about the suspension... As for bodywork, I can't think of anything unless some carbon stuff make an appearance.

I would wait for the LS7 conversion kit to come out.

I love the concept but like you struggling with the asthetics.... And the Covid-19 has put the spanner in the works.. the uncertainty of what the "new" normal will bring over the coming weeks and months.

I have been toying with either white or black..I think black works with the shape...

1. Looks better in Black definitely
2. It kind of looks like a mini CHR

Two phrases I never thought would be said together.

In general, I like it better than I thought I would.

The video is also very entertaining with subtitles and autotranslate turned on. I'm going to have to figure out how to work this into my next technical discussion with a user.
