I got the 527's in black, but kinda want to paint them bronze, looking for the best options.
They were/are matte bronze. The original matte bronze paint started chipping so I had them powder coated matte bronze.

Take a look here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75878

The bronze powder I went with is this: http://www.allpowderpaints.com/powde...-matte-finish/

Nope, the lovely old Inland Empire

I did go to UCI for undergrad though...that's a nice spot

There are usually quite a few meets in and around OC if you're into that stuff...

Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax.

I've been using their XXX Hardcore Paste Wax for a little while, and I like it. It was my first time using their Butter Wax, so I'm interested in seeing how durable it is for being really easy to apply.

I pulled my wheels off to take a look at replacing my front brake pads (I've driven the car for 2 years, and about 53,000 km).
The pads were practically unworn (despite a couple track days and a track driving school, and semi-occasional aggressive driving).

In fact, I compared my stock pads to my Stoptech replacements, and there was maybe 1mm of wear.

I love lightness....
